While meaningless United Nations hand-wringing over the North Korean nuclear weapons program garners the headlines, the world body is moving ahead with a global conference to lay the groundwork for world government financed by global taxes. The communist head of the U.N. General Assembly is leading the effort, but he is getting crucial support from “progressive” economists who advise the Obama Administration and the Democratic Party.

The United Nations Conference on the World Financial and Economic Crisis and Its Impact on Development, previously scheduled for June 1-3, will now take place on June 24-26.

U.N. General Assembly President Miguel D’Escoto is the U.N. point man on these “global governance” issues. We noted his role at the United Nations in a column last October. Now, even the New York Times is paying attention to what this crackpot has been up to.

D’Escoto, the Times said, believes the way out of the global financial crisis “should be lined with all manner of new global institutions, authorities and advisory boards,” including the Global Stimulus Fund, the Global Public Goods Authority, the Global Tax Authority, the Global Financial Products Safety Commission, the Global Financial Regulatory Authority, the Global Competition Authority, the Global Council of Financial and Economic Advisers, the Global Economic Coordination Council, and the World Monetary Board.

D’Escoto is the former foreign minister of Communist Sandinista Nicaragua and Catholic Priest of the Maryknoll Order who advocates Marxist-oriented liberation theology and won the Lenin Peace Prize from the old Soviet Union. D’Escoto also claims a Master’s of Science from Columbia University’s School of Journalism.

The Times interviewed Paul Oquist, D’Escoto’s senior adviser for the conference, who sat beneath portraits of Fidel Castro of Cuba, Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua, among others.

The problem is that the Times, in its story, “At U.N., a Sandinista’s Plan for Recovery,” didn’t mention until the 13^th paragraph that the official U.N. list of “experts” behind the plan include an American economist, Joseph E. Stiglitz, a Nobel Prize-winning professor from Columbia University who supported and contributed to Obama’s presidential campaign and advises Congressional Democrats on economic policy.

Stiglitz, an advocate of nationalizing U.S. banks, is also a member of the Socialist International Commission on Global Financial Issues and his name appears on a separate list of 15 “special advisers” to D’Escoto obtained from the U.N. by Inner City Press. Another name on the list-Noam Chomsky-is on the board of the Communist Party spin-off, the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism. 

Working With A Castroite

Aides to D’Escoto “point out repeatedly that the president got many of his ideas from a distinguished panel of experts led by an American economist and Nobel laureate, Joseph E. Stiglitz,” the Times noted.

Stiglitz, a former Clinton official and financial contributor to the Democratic Party and its candidates, wrote the book, Making Globalization Work, in which he argues for a variety of global tax schemes that would cost American taxpayers billions of dollars. Last October he met behind closed doors with congressional Democrats, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, to devise the economic “stimulus” plan of more federal spending and debt.

Incredibly, Stiglitz was quoted in a U.N. press release last October as saying that the United Nations, which is notorious for corruption, had to intervene in the financial crisis because it was “the one institution that was inclusive and had political legitimacy...”

Another one of the “experts” the Times neglected to mention was Robert Johnson, former managing director at Soros Fund Management and board member of the Institute for America’s Future, a sponsor of next week’s June 1-3 “progressive” conference in Washington, D.C. that will honor pro-Castro Rep. Barbara Lee and socialist labor leader John Sweeney of the AFL-CIO.

The Hand of Soros

The Soros-funded Open Society Institute gave the Institute for America’s Future $500,000 in 2008 in the area of “Idea Generation and Policy Change.”

Johnson also serves on the board of the Democracy Alliance, a wealthy liberal group that includes Soros and is committed to “fostering collaboration among progressive leaders and institutions..." 

Johnson’s involvement in the United Nations Conference on the World Financial and Economic Crisis demonstrates how this “collaboration” is occurring at the global level and involves representatives of socialist and communist governments at the U.N.

Other “experts” on the D’Escoto panel come from Russia and China, with one of his “special representatives,” Oswaldo Martinez, identified as only being from Communist Cuba with no biography attached. Another D’Escoto “special representative,” socialist and Jesuit Priest Francois Houtart, is the author of “Socialism for the 21^st Century.”

Toward this end, the “Report of the Commission of Experts of the President of the UN General Assembly on Reforms of the International Monetary and Financial System” raises the possibility of global taxes to finance one of President Obama’s legislative goals when he was a senator-committing 0.7 percent of Gross National Income as “official development assistance” or foreign aid. This was the essence of Obama’s Global Poverty Act, which never came up for a full Senate vote because of increasing public awareness that it would commit the U.S. to spending $845 billion in additional foreign aid. 

Global Tax Agenda

Under the heading of “Innovative Sources of Financing” (page 109), the U.N. document declares that “For some time, the difficulty in meeting the UN official assistance target of 0.7 per cent of GNI of industrial countries as official development assistance, as well as the need for adequate funding for the provision of global and regional public goods (peace building, fighting global health pandemics, combating climate change and sustaining the global environment more generally) has generated proposals on how to guarantee stable sources of financing for these objectives.”

These proposals, the document says, include initiatives involving “taxation for global objectives.” It adds, “Two suggestions deserve special attention: a carbon tax and a levy on financial transactions.” The global carbon tax, the document says, could generate $130 billion a year, while estimates of the revenues from a currency transaction tax range from $15 to $35 billion. Other global taxation options are also examined.

However, as D’Escoto and his “experts” move ahead with the U.N.’s global economic conference, some of Obama’s representatives at the U.S. Mission to the U.N. seem to have grown sensitive to the communist’s frequent outbursts of loony leftism and anti-American rhetoric. Such remarks could bring unwarranted attention to what D’Escoto and the “progressive” American economists are trying to implement in the international economic realm.

For example, The Washington Post recently reported on American criticism of D’Escoto’s statements about Iran having no nuclear weapons program, exaggerating civilian deaths in Iraq, and calling for the release of Cuban Communist agents imprisoned in the U.S. D’Escoto “has repeatedly abused his position to pursue his personal agenda, and in doing so he diminishes the office and harms the General Assembly,” one U.S. official was quoted as saying.

The Times story about the upcoming global economic conference said that D’Escoto’s critics, who are “legion,” say that some of his proposals-"like levying an international tax on all financial transactions or replacing the dollar as the international reserve currency"-"are well beyond the role of the United Nations.” But none of these critics was identified as being in the Obama Administration or at the U.S. Mission to the U.N. Some of the critics seemed to be ambassadors from foreign countries who were peeved that they didn’t get more direct input into formulating the conference document.

However, other than being too outspoken about the elaborate plans for new global institutions and world government that are being drawn up, it would appear that D’Escoto’s goals and those of the Obama Administration correspond nicely. Perhaps that is because they share some of the same economic “experts” and Marxist philosophy.

Hill oversight of the activities which they undertake.

Obama has made public today his plan to take control of the Internet - directly from the White House - on behalf of preserving

"cyber-security." This strategy to expand his authority to encroach further on Americans right to privacy - with warrantless supervision of online activity - has been in the works since the Inauguration. The timing of its current announcement holds notable coincidence to the Chief Executive's recent decline in public opinion polls (along with the downhill slide of popularity among his key Congressional leadership (Pelosi, Reid and Dodd.)

Former Democratic activists who worked against Obama's nomination are among those most aware of the alarm bells this current

move to suppress opposition sets off. His online primary campaign, which generated maximum impact via use of high tech applications-is recalled by many for its brutality and vicious conduct against web opponents in 2008. Several reported personal threats while many more indicated repeated disruption of their blogs and large-scale attacks on their forums. Throughout the campaign season, an online army of campaign-paid web thugs were hired for these intrusions, as reported and verified by FOX News. Intimidation, verbal threats, gutter language and even obscene images were the order of the day.  

Those in the know, then are acutely aware, then, that the "threats to security" listed by this Head of State in his televised speech today ironically coincide with tactics similar to some his own campaign used to get elected. An Obama small-dollar-on-line donor even reported receiving a phone call on his unlisted cell phone to remind him of a "Meet Up" in his own neighborhood - this despite the fact that the donor had not supplied the campaign with either his cell number nor his physical address! At least one Nigerian husband and wife both confessed last year to using their executive positions with international tech corporations to obtain personal records of U.S. citizens for use in harassment by the "Change" campaign. 

In the meantime, while specifics of the new leader's rationale remain to be seen, it's already foreshadowed they will be as far-reaching as possible. Obama's sweeping statements about the urgent need to protect everything from banking records, to online purchases to information exchange. Rumors have indicated that the NSA is also disturbed that this new report-to-President only position would also circumvent this agency's normal role in cyber-watching. Further evidence of the long-term planning of this eradication of online privacy plan lies in the fact that Senators Rockfeller and Snowe introduced a bill in Congress on April 1st to give the White House these cyber-space powers.

One could ask: How does the rest of Congress feel about turning over their responsibility and authority to the Executive Branch?

Also, if the right to online privacy is allowed follow the path of warrantless phone wire-tapping what does Big Brother have in mind

next? And lest we wonder who might be put on the Cyber Czar's Watch List, just remember the recent Homeland Security Warning

that "right wing extremists" (ie any citizens identified as"Change administration opponents) are now a grave threat.. Even a child could connect quickly connect the dots between that recent DHS Alert and the press conference on cyber-security threats today! it's not hard to guage whose "security" seems to feel most threatened. The only question that remains is how much more terror - against free enterprise and freedom of speech - will We the People permit the "Change" Administration to undertake?!

I tried, from 2004 onward, to warn conservatives that all of the Bush Administration's extraordinary claimed executive "war powers" would one day be in the hands of their political enemies. I warned them that those enemies would then turn the war on terrorism fully inward, on "right wing" domestic opponents of the regime. I warned that the mechanism would be to accuse people of being "terrorists" in the war on terrorism, and thus unlawful enemy combatants.

I warned that the Bush Administration, in its zeal to go after Islamic terrorists, made no distinction between citizens and non-citizens and claimed the power to treat any American citizen designated as an unlawful enemy combatant exactly the same as a foreign enemy in wartime. I warned that the Supreme Court had rubber stamped this claim of power in the 2004 Hamdi decision. I warned that this power would eventually be used not just against suspected Islamic terrorists, but also against any other American targeted by the government, and that a leftist administration, in particular, would use this power against domestic patriots on the political right. Well, now it is happening. Though I knew this was coming, even I have been surprised by how swiftly the Obama Administration is moving on this, or how radically it is expanding on the claimed powers.

This doctrine of "Preventive detention" takes the powers asserted by the Bush Admin one step further - they don't even have to accuse you of having done anything related to terrorism. They can just accuse you of being likely to do something. That's what preventive detention means - you detain someone before they do something. It is a concept entirely foreign to our legal system, but it will be ushered in under the guise of being a quisi-war power, in the "war" on terrorism, rather than simply a matter of criminal law. And do not think for a moment that it won't be used on U.S. citizens here at home. It will be.

Did you read it? Good.

Now, think about how this doctrine of preventive detention fits in with "enemy combatant status." If a president can declare you an enemy combatant, based on some nebulous criteria, why can't he also apply preventive detention to you based on mere suspicion you might do something?

And think about how this would fit right in with the relentless government program to smear entire swaths of the political right as potential terrorists.

There was the MIAC report, listing all kinds of conservative views and membership in conservative groups and third political parties as indicators that someone may be a terrorist.

 

Then there was the DHS report on right wing extremism that did the same, and added returning veterans to the mix of those who just might be a terrorist.

 

And then the DHS Extremist Lexicon went even further, labeling as "extremists" anyone who is a "constitutionalist" or a "constitutionist" or who belongs to any number of political and social issue advocacy groups, such as folks opposed to abortion or opposed to illegal immigration.

 

And in that report, the term "extremist" is synonymous with "terrorist" - so what it basically did is label anyone who is a constitutionalist a suspected terrorist.

And then there are these two:

THE NO FLY LIST

Watch this! Rahm Emanuel gave a speach in 2007 to the Brady Center where he argued that anyone on the No Fly List should be stripped of the right to keep and bear arms:

 

The No Fly List is notorious for being an arbitrary method of labelling someone a "suspected terrorist." Nearly anyone can, and has been, put on that No Fly List. There is no due process, no hearing, nothing. Your name is just put on it. And once on it, good luck getting your name off.

Thus, there is already an established method for labeling any of you a "suspected terrorist." So, the Obama Administration could simply put you on that list, and then apply this doctrine of preventive detention to you.

HR 2401

And now, we see that on May 13, 2009, implementing legislation has been proposed for this idea of using the No Fly List to wipe out the right to bear arms in the form of H.R. 2401, which amends 18 USC Section 922 to add those on the no fly list to the list of prohibited persons who may not purchase, receive or possess a firearm. It is called the No Fly, No Buy Act of 2009, but like many such bills, its title is a lie since it is really a No Fly, No Buy, and NO POSSESS Act since, if you are put on the no fly list, for whatever reason, you cannot possess a firearm at all - just as if you were a convicted felon. And how, exactly, would you know you have been placed on the no fly list, and can no longer possess your guns? Apparenty, unless you fly and find out, you will know when you are arrested for unlawful possession. And all without a shred of due process. ANYONE can be put on the no fly list, for any reason, simply because your name pops up on some federal agency data base as someone who might be a potential threat to national security.


H.R. 2159: GIVING ATTORNEY GENERAL HOLDER THE POWER TO DESIGNATE ANYONE A "SUSPECTED TERRORIST" OR SUSPECTED SUPPORTER OF TERRORISM.

H.R. 2159, the Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2009 (sponsored by a Repubican, Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y), would enpower the attorney general to deny transfer of a firearm to any "known or suspected dangerous terrorist." As Wordnetdaily reported, "The bill requires only that the potential firearm transferee is "appropriately suspected" of preparing for a terrorist act and that the attorney general "has a reasonable belief" that the gun might be used in connection with terrorism." Actually, it is even worse than that, since it also allows the attorney general to deny a firearm to anyone suspected of supporting terrorism (whatever that means). Who gets to say? The attorney general. By what criteria? Whatever he makes up, just like with the No Fly List - in fact, he could use the already established No Fly List process to make these designations (and can delegate this power to his underlings).

Those are just two examples of what formal mechanisms could be used, and notice that both of those ideas directly target gun owners and would-be gun owners.

And then go and read HR 1955, which was a precursor to this whole regime of smearing, marginalization, and labeling as "terrorists."

Obama really doesn't need any new enabling legislation. He can use the already established No Fly List process, coupled with the claimed power of a president, as commander in chief, to designate American citizens to be unlawful enemy combatants. Still, enabling legislation would lend an additional venere of legitimacy and additional legal cover since he could point to Congress's authorization and argue that he is at the zenith of his claimed war powers.

Folks, the handwriting is on the wall. The war on terror is being turned inward, on you.

Official irate that Climate Depot's Morano allowed to testify

Commissioner Foster Campbell of the Louisiana Public Service Commission is demanding to know why a witness skeptical of man-made global warming was not "shut down" during a May 13, 2009 hearing in Baton Rouge.

According to an article in The Times-Picayune on May 19, 2009, Campbell was irate that Climate Depot's executive editor Marc Morano was invited to speak at the hearing by Commissioner Eric Skrmetta. The paper reported: "Campbell criticized [Chairman] Boissiere for not shutting down Morano's presentation." [Morano note: This is eerily similar to the event that occurred in Congress on April 23, 2009. See: Democrats Refuse to Allow Skeptic to Testify Alongside Gore At Congressional Hearing ]

Campbell, a Democrat who ran for governor, attempted to verbally grill Morano during the hearing and has since publicly accused the Climate Depot editor of being a "phony" and a "hack" who is part of a "fringe group" and he accused Morano of "deception" and taking "quotes out of context." Campbell, who engaged in a testy back and forth during the standing room only hearing with Morano, is now apparently demanding any future witnesses that challenge his scientific understanding of global warming be promptly “shut down.” [Morano note: Campbell's low-brow insults and impulse to cut off debate only serve to diminish his reputation.]

The Times-Picayune reported: “After a presenter at last week's Public Service Commission meeting asserted that global warming is a hoax, Commissioner Foster Campbell said Tuesday he plans to introduce a motion at the June meeting requiring most people testifying before the commission to do so under oath.” [Morano note: The paper is incorrect; I never testified that global warming is a “hoax.” ]

Campbell's call for future witnesses to be sworn-in is apparently his attempt to scare off any future skeptics of man-made global warming fears from testifying. Campbell implies "swearing" in witnesses would somehow force witnesses to change their dissenting views of climate change. [Morano note: Sadly, it seems as though Campbell actually believes that if you present scientific evidence refuting Gore's climate view, you must be a liar. I would be delighted to return to Baton Rouge to testify again under oath and allow Campbell all the time he would like to question my presentation. ]

The paper reported that Morano's testimony “upstaged” Campbell's invited witness.

“Marc Morano, a former aide to Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma who now runs an anti-global-warming website called ClimateDepot.com, said there's no proof that the planet is getting hotter and called the award of the Nobel Peace Prize to Al Gore and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change a 'political gimmick.'” [Morano note: I merely quoted award-winning physicist Dr. Claude Allegre -- who reversed his view on warming to become a skeptic -- stating Gore's Nobel award was "a political gimmick.” ]

The paper continued: “Campbell maintains that [his witness] offered the commission an analysis of a proposed policy change while Morano, who once worked for Rush Limbaugh, delivered a political rant that was of no value to the commission. He criticized [Chairman] Boissiere for not shutting down Morano's presentation.”

[ Morano note: A frustrated Campbell sat through my presentation which contained extensive analysis of cap-and-trade and I cited peer-reviewed scientific studies, prominent international scientists and the latest real world developments exposing the errors in man-made climate fears. My testimony even cited left wing environmentalists and promoters of global warming fears like the UK's James Lovelock, NASA's James Hansen and Green Party candidate Ralph Nader trashing the concept of cap-and-trade as “verging on a gigantic scam.” In addition, I presented the overwhelming polling data showing the public is rejecting climate fears.]

During the question and answer portion of the testimony, Campbell accused Morano of representing "big business" and not being kind to former Vice President Al Gore. Campbell has been on a public relations war path since Morano's 35-minute testimony at the hearing. Last week, Campbell released a May 14, 2009 letter calling Morano a “political operator from Washington, D.C. and he accused him of giving a “far-right sermon on Global Warming straight out of Rush Limbaugh, complete with obscure references, quotes out of context and personal attacks on a former Vice President and winner of the Nobel Prize.” Campbell called Morano's testimony a “political circus.” He then went on to label him a “hack” who used “deception.”

Watching the debate of the Waxman-Markey “Cap-and-Trade” bill that would impose limits on “greenhouse gas” emissions, allegedly to deter “global warming” one Congressman, reading from the script in front of him, said that there is no further debate on whether “global warming” is real and that “a consensus” of scientists concur. He lied.

Everything about “global warming” is a lie and has been since the United Nations created the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to provide the basis for the destruction of the world’s great, industrialized nations while exempting developing nations such as China and India from its mandates.

On my desk is a Global Warming Petition signed by 31,478 American Scientists. It says “There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate.”

“Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmosphere carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth.”

Along with other data I picked up in March while attending The Heartland Institute’s second International Conference on Climate Change is a summary for policymakers titled “Nature, Not Human Activity, Rules the Climate.” Published by the Institute, it is the work of the Science and Environmental Policy Project. On June 2, the Institute will sponsor another comparable conference in Washington, D.C.

The national media will do its best to either ignore or disparage the science that will be presented by some of the nation’s leading climatologists and meteorologists. They have betrayed Americans for decades with their slavish repetition of environmental lies, their glorification of Earth Day, all things “Green”, and their attacks on so-called deniers and skeptics.

America needs all of its 330 million people to be skeptics. It needs them to shake off the lies about “global warming” and demand by calls, letters, faxes, and emails that Congress steps back from the entirety of this foul piece of legislation and to vote against it.

The United States of America is on the precipice of its own destruction and it will be the work of the Democrat members of Congress, the White House, and the work since the 1970s of all those self-anointed and self-proclaimed “environmentalists” who seek to destroy our economy.

“Cap-and-Trade” is a dagger at the heart of America. It will raise the cost of electricity, gasoline, and all forms of energy vital to the economy of the nation. It will enrich the federal government at the loss of hundreds of thousands of jobs. It is a form of taxation that will impact everything we purchase.

It is to the credit of the Republican Party that its members in Congress are waging a battle to deter this piece of legislation from becoming law. As one Republican Senator noted last evening, “Carbon dioxide is what we exhale, every one of us.” How difficult is it for anyone to understand that CO2 is not a threat and never was?

The threat is the hidden political agenda, socialist in its attempt to control the entire landmass of the nation, to lock away our vast natural energy resources, and to impose laws that will impoverish the present and future generations of America.

The despots of the world are watching and waiting for our destruction. They will celebrate in their palaces. They need not fire a single missile.

At this point, every American knows that today’s Democrat Party is the anti-American political party in the United States. Run by the Democratic Socialists of America and their Progressive Caucus, funded by the anti-free market international proletariat cabal, DNC collectivism for the greater communal good rules the day. If you are truly “American,” you don’t really need me to list all of the hard left leaps of the last 110 days…

But where is the American Party that stands for founding American principles and values of personal freedom and individual liberty? We have lost thousands of good young Americans around the globe, in defense of freedom and liberty. Surely they did not all die in vain, only to let America slide off into the secular socialist abyss without as much as a whimper…

Where is the political counter-balance to the extreme left currently free to assume full control of the free-market economy and every American taxpayer?

Not all that long ago, we held “These truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

We no longer hold these truths as self-evident or unalienable… It’s all up to ideological interpretation and negotiation now. Freedom itself is negotiable, in the interest of some imaginary greater communal good.

Despite the very real fact that nothing in earth’s recorded history has ever served men better than freedom, some now believe a good greater than freedom exists. Despite the reality that socialism and communism have failed everywhere they have been tried, and that America has fed people all over the world who were starving under those concepts, some Americans think it’s a viable and progressive idea.

These folks are well represented by today’s Democratic Socialists in Washington DC. But who represents all of the students of history, who know all to well, how this story ends?

Where is the American Party?

I refer to the American “right” as any American who is not “left,” - People who prefer freedom over free-stuff, individual liberty over centralized power, the right to earn, own and live in peace without fear of assaults on their personal prosperity; People willing to endure their own mistakes so that they might one day succeed and reap the rewards of their sacrifices.

These folks call themselves Constitutionalists, Conservatives, Libertarians, Independents and sometimes, even Republicans. I call them all, “the American right.” Where is their party?

For many years, their party was the Republican Party, or the GOP. But in recent years, many have fragmented off into splintered special interest initiatives, convinced that today’s Republican Party is leading nothing, instead, following the leftist model for success, which is to appear as all things to all people while being nothing of any value to anyone.

People fooled into opposing the fundamental Americans rights of Life, Liberty and Freedom, can be easily fooled into anything, including calling outright communists, Democrats. But people still aware and in love with founding American principles and values are very tough to fool.

While the left wishes to progress beyond personal freedom to some sexy but imaginary socialist utopia wherein they have all the rights and no responsibilities, and they can run roughshod over those expected to pick up the tab, the right clings to the tired old concepts of personal freedom and individual liberty, which carry with them the reality of personal responsibility.

People able to take responsibility for their own actions demand the freedom to do so. People who are unwilling to accept personal responsibility for their own actions, demand free-stuff to correct the problems they create.

Politicians are snake oil salesmen. They find a group willing to buy what they are selling and pander to that group to gain political power. Then they pursue their own agenda once elected. Few Americans have had the time or inclination to hold them accountable for years now. To no surprise, the politicians aren’t worried about the people at all anymore.

The American Party

Like it or not, only one political party has the power structure in place to become a viable American Party today. It sure isn’t the Democrat Party—which leaves only the Republican Party.

The RNC is not an American Party right now, because left unattended for many years; the weeds have overtaken the American garden. Termites have been busy at the foundation for years now. We need some structural repairs.

But if the “American right” wants to play a relevant role in shaping the future of this nation, both short term and long term, they will have to reclaim the Republican Party, with all of its weeds and termites, and begin fixin’ her up. There is no other answer available today and no other on the horizon.

The American right will have to cultivate the Republican Party and make it an American Party. Not in name, but in principles and values, where it really counts.

Our founders had it exactly right. - “o secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, ‚Äî That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it;”

The federal government has become entirely destructive of these ends, and the Republican Party has been no help in preventing the Fed becoming so destructive. It is therefore “he Right of the People to alter or to abolish it;” Altering, to make useful again, is less expensive and less dangerous than abolishing, leaving the American right homeless and powerless for the foreseeable future.

For this reason, I recommend that we “alter” the Republican Party to make it something useful again. Only if that honest effort completely fails, should the option of abolishing it be considered.

Republican was not always a dirty word, you know. The founders established in Article IV Section 4 of the Constitution, that “the United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government;” That’s a pretty good basis from which to begin.

They could have said “democratic.” But there is a good reason why they didn’t… Obamanation is busy proving both Thomas Jefferson and Karl Marx right, as we speak.

For these two reasons alone, the founders promised a Republican form of government. Now, if we just had a Republican Party committed to American principles and values, through which to deliver on that promise for future posterity…

Who is Responsible for Making it Happen?

Where to Start?

All politics are local, especially right now. We will need very powerful and “right” state and local governments to stand off an increasingly intrusive Fed running like a third world dictatorship at the moment. Start there…

The RNC is still headed in the wrong direction in my opinion, even after their black eye from 2006 and bloody nose in 2008. Clearly, the current RNC leadership is beyond help. They just are not learning from their mistakes, so new leadership is needed at RNC headquarters and immediately.

Fortunately, two reform movements are already underway in the RNC. One headed up by RNC heads, the National Council for a New America, and the other by the Republican Governors Association, The GOP Comeback.

If we don’t engage in these efforts, we have no say over the outcome of these efforts. That could hardly be considered an honest effort to “alter” the form and direction of the GOP. We can’t abolish simply because we refuse to engage. We can’t reform anything without engaging in the reform process.

Meanwhile, TEA party --call --write, or visit your representatives. In short, become part of the solution or remain part of the problem!

If we want an American Party, we will have to build one!

Barack Obama cannot be Trusted with Classified Information

How can the President of the United States be denied a basic security clearance? How can the Commander and Chief of the most powerful military be denied access to classified information? Barack Obama would be denied the necessary security clearance for President if he was held to the same standard as everyone else. If you can’t pass a Secret level background investigation, which is required for many soldiers, you should not be eligible for the Presidency.

What is a Security Clearance?

Having served in the U.S. military, law enforcement, and as a civilian government contractor, I’ve had my fair share of background investigations. The United States government employs a multitier security clearance paradigm.

Confidential – Unauthorized disclosure could cause “damage to national security.”
Secret – Unauthorized disclosure could cause “serious damage to national security.”
Top Secret – Unauthorized disclosure could cause “exceptionally grave damage to national security.”

Each level of access requires a progressively more in-depth background investigation before the clearance is obtained. The President of the United States should be able to flawlessly pass the most extensive investigation and a polygraph test. Both are required for workers in some Special Access Programs classified Top Secret.

The purpose of the clearance is to determine an individual’s honesty, trustworthiness, reliability, financial responsibility, criminal activity, emotional stability, foreign influences, family associations, drug use, mental health, judicial proceedings, employment history, traits of character, and loyalty to the United States. This collective data is used to evaluate your ability and willingness to safeguard national secrets. Based on the facts about Barack Obama, he fails to satisfy the minimum requirements for even a basic secret clearance. His background investigation would have “Red Flags” shooting up in so many places; the issuing panel would deny him a clearance outright.

Obama’s Answers on the Security Clearance Application

Instead of going through all the Security Clearance Application questions, I’ll examine the questions that would deny Barack Obama a Secret Clearance.

List foreign national relatives whom you or your spouse are bound by affection, obligation, or close and continuing contact.

Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. of Kenya, and Lolo Soetoro, the Indonesian oil manager his mother married. These two foreign relatives would probably initiate a Defensive Security Services or Department of Defense investigation that would take roughly a year to explore. I’m not sure how many degrees of separation are involved, but Obama Sr. and Soetoro’s associations are not friendly to the United States. However, they are not the primary concern.

Barack Obama’s brother, his kin Abongo Obama, is a militant Muslim who has been quoted saying, “A black man must liberate himself from the poisons of European cultures and western values.” Obama’s paternal cousin, Raila Odinga is also a Muslim extremist who recently lost the Kenyan Presidential election to a Christian. How can such relations exist between the President of the United States and radical Muslims?

Have you ever been an officer or a member or made a contribution to an organization dedicated to the violent overthrow of the United States Government and which engages in illegal activities to that end, knowing that the organization engages in such activities with the specific intent to further such activities?

Have you ever knowingly engaged in any acts or activities designed to overthrow the United States Government by force?

These two questions go hand and hand. Having gone through the interview phase of the clearance process a number of times, I can’t image the look on the face of the investigator nor the sheer amount of time it would take to explain Barack Obama’s anti American ties.

Sen. Barack Obama served as a paid director alongside a confessed domestic terrorist and granted funding to a controversial Arab group that dubbed the creation of Israel as a “catastrophe.” The founder of the Arab group in question, Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi, also has held a fundraiser for Obama. Khalidi is a harsh critic of Israel, has made statements supportive of Palestinian terror and reportedly has worked on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization while it was involved in anti western terrorism.

Barack Obama also served on the Wood’s Fund board with William Ayers, a member of the Weathermen terrorist group which sought to overthrow of the U.S. government and took responsibility for the bombings of New York City Police Headquarters in 1970, of the Capitol building in 1971, and the Pentagon in 1972. Bill Ayers has killed hundreds of civilians, police officers, and was recently quoted saying, “I don’t regret setting bombs, I feel we didn’t do enough.”

I would deny a security clearance for anybody that even shook these men’s hands, never mind launching a campaign from Ayer’s living room.

Have you illegally used any controlled substance, for example, marijuana, cocaine, crack cocaine, hashish, narcotics (opium, morphine, codeine, heroin, etc.), amphetamines, depressants (barbiturates, methaqualone, tranquilizers, etc.), hallucinogenics (LSD, PCP, etc.), or prescription drugs?

Barack Obama has specifically admitted to using marijuana and cocaine in his book “Dreams From My Father.” He even confesses pursuing heroin, but was scared of the drug dealer. A clearance question such as this is used to test someone’s ethical fortitude to stand up for what is right, legally forbidden, and ultimately make correct decisions. Obama fails this test with his weakness to deny temptation.

Would anyone question your honesty?

Obama’s lies regarding his recollection of policies supported and the reality of what he actually did endorse are too numerous to count. However, these lies are unfortunately common in today’s politics. An article written in a conservative blog has outlined 26 more personal deceptions Obama has made to the American people. How can anyone trust this guy with confidence?

Barack Obama’s Patriotism and National Security

Although not a question on the Security Clearance application, “Are you a Patriotic American” should be.

The National Anthem is playing and Barack Obama is the only person on the stage not inclined to put their hand over their heart. The hand over the heart is symbolic of your respect and love for your country. Of all people, the President of the United States must be the most devote patriot in the nation. If you are not a patriot, how are you to provide unconditional national security? Three other instances come to mind that have me question how loyal he is to the U.S. and if he even loves this country.

Reverend Jeremiah Wright
I bet most of us have heard about Reverend Jeremaiah Wright’s radical anti American preaching and Barack Obama’s consistent attendance of this man’s sermons, but did you know Reverend Wright officiated Barack and Michelle’s wedding and even baptized their kids? It appears to me that Wright is a significantly influential person in the Obama family’s life. Do we want a President who has been barraged and apparently supports their religious leader’s lectures containing anti American propaganda, such as…

    “We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye.”

    “We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost.”

    “The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three strike law and then wants us to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, God damn America, that’s in the Bible for killing innocent people. God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme.”

    “In the 21st century, white America got a wake-up call after 911. White America and the western world came to realize that people of color had not gone away, faded into the woodwork or just ‘disappeared’ as the Great White West kept on its merry way of ignoring black concerns.”

    “Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run!…We [in the U.S.] believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God.”

    “Barack knows what it means living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people. Hillary would never know that. Hillary ain’t never been called a nigger. Hillary has never had a people defined as a non-person.”

    “Hillary is married to Bill, and Bill has been good to us. No he ain’t! Bill did us, just like he did Monica Lewinsky. He was riding dirty.”

    “The Israelis have illegally occupied Palestinian territories for over 40 years now. Divestment has now hit the table again as a strategy to wake the business community and wake up Americans concerning the injustice and the racism under which the Palestinians have lived because of Zionism.”

I don’t care that Obama now condemns Wright’s remarks. He never denounced the man before, and continued to attend Wright’s church for over 20 years.

Michelle ObamaThe person you marry is your closest confidant and Barack Obama has recently said that Michelle is one of the people he listens to and respects the most. Michelle has been quoted saying, “Our souls are broken in this nation”; “For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country”; and “…as a member of the black community, I am obligated to this community and will utilize all of my present and future resources to benefit the black community first and foremost” to name a few. As a President’s closest adviser and the country’s first lady, take pride in how far this nation has come, and work toward the benefit of all not just your ethnicity. Can this woman, with such animosity toward ancestral shortcomings, come into the present and forget about skin color? Isn’t that what Martin Luther King Jr. meant by, “…all men are created equal” and “…not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character?” Michelle’s narrow vision, obvious unwillingness to conform to unity and equality, and her desire to benefit the black community instead of the community at large is not first lady material.

Not visiting the troops
As a former enlisted soldier having been deployed twice and a current government contractor, Obama’s recent neglect to visit our country’s courageous troops is insulting. He had time to woo German citizens and play basketball, but opt out on supporting wounded soldiers. Retired Lt. Col. Joe Reypya had me nodding in approval when commenting on Obama’s decision, “”The most solemn duty of a commander in chief is to fulfill his responsibility to the men and women who serve this country in uniform. Barack Obama … broke that commitment, instead flitting from one European capital to the next…For a young man so apt at playing President, Barack Obama badly misjudged the important demands of the office he seeks. Visits with world leaders and speeches to cheering Europeans shouldn’t be a substitute for comforting injured American heroes.”

I could go on and on about how this man is not fit for office, but my point in this post is to express my opinion that the potential Commander and Chief of the United States could not receive a Nation Security Clearance to even hold a low level intelligence position within the government. How can he be President? Better yet, how is he even a Senator?

• It appears that Obama actually worked for Ayers in a Chicago educational reform program that dispensed millions of dollars of grants.
• One of the leaders of “Progressives for Obama” is former SDS leader Tom Hayden, who wrote a letter to a communist Vietnamese official during the Vietnam War hoping for a “victory” over the U.S.

The 58th annual Bilderberg Group Meeting was held in Greece, May 14-17 (It’s address: Nafsika Astir Palace Hotel, Apollonos Avenue 40, 16671 Vouliagmeni, Greece). As usual, since the first reunion in the Hotel de Bilderberg near Arnhem in Holland, May 29 to 31,1954, the Western “elite conclave” held behind closed doors aroused much interest and suspicion.

The initiator of the Bilderberg Group (or Club) meetings, now bringing together about 130-150 of the most powerful and influential people from the Western World, was a Polish exile Dr.Jozef Hieronim Retinger. “He was worried about anti-Americanism and the advance of Communism in Western Europe.  Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands agreed to sponsor the idea, the head of the Central Intelligence Agency, Walter Bedell Smith, threw his weight behind it and so did the White House.” (The Times)

Jan (John) Pomian, a Polish secretary of Dr. Retinger, in his essay “Memoirs of an Eminence Grise,” described the first meeting of the prominent people that were to initiate the Bilderberg Group:

“Then in May 1954 the first conference took place in a secluded hotel called the Bilderberg, near Arnhem in Holland. There were about eighty participants, including some twenty Americans. It was a very high-powered gathering of prominent politicians, industrialists, bankers and eminent public figures, writers, trade unionists and scholars. Prince Bernhard, Paul van Zeeland and John Coleman took the Chair in turn. A certain atmosphere of tense expectation, noticeable when people who are gathered together for the first time warily feel their way, was soon dissipated, thanks largely to the charm, easy manner and sense of humour of the Prince. Speakers were only allowed five minutes at a time which helped to liven up debates, while the pungent interventions of C.D. Jackson, Denis Healey, Lord Boothby and a few others added bite to the discussions.

In addition to the plenary meetings, meals and drinks were occasions for some of the most interesting, stimulating and often amusing exchanges. After three days of living together in this secluded place, which participants left only once, when Prince Bernhard invited them to cocktails at the Royal Palace nearby, a certain faint but discernible bond was created. A new entity was born. But it was difficult to define what it was. Its purpose, its methods and its structure were new and original. They did not bear any analogy and did not fit into any known category. For the time being, for lack of any better term, it was called the Bilderberg Group after the name of the hotel in which the first meeting took place.”

Jozef Retinger initiated the original Bilderberg conference in 1954, and was its Secretary until his death in 1960. He was also Secretary General the European Movement and a co-founder of the European Community, preceding the European Union.

Who really was Retinger? A brave man from a prominent Polish family of Krakow, who took part in parachuting missions during the II WW, a free-mason, and - as Stephen Dorril revealed in his book: ‘MI6: Fifty Years of Special Operations’ published by Fourth Estate, London, 2000 - Retinger was an MI6 asset (agent). His connections in the political and financial world were so wide and important that he might have influenced the post-war history of Europe and of the world. Bilderberg Group was his creation, to become a powerful “human tool” to shape the future if not of the entire globe, then of the Western World for sure.

Conspiracy theories and Realpolitik

The fifty five years of the history of the Bilderberg Group and its 58 secretive meetings provided many reasons for authors of various conspiracy histories, claiming that this secret society ruled the world, at least the Western World. Moreover, the omni-powerful Group was accused of every evil that perspired in the years since its first meeting in 1954.

The world is too big and too complicated to be governed by any, though powerful and prominent, “secret conclave” of politicians, bankers, CEOs of big corporations and of the media and military leaders. But the Bilderbeg Group imposed some influence upon the policy of the Western governments and financial centers. Its members also advocated and promoted globalization and centralization of power, leading to continetal centers of super-state administration, like the existing European Union and the idea of a North-American Union, and finally to a World Government as the ultimate goal.

Reports leaking from the Bilderberg meetings, indicate that some most important political and economic decisions could be conceived and discussed by members of the Group and, eventually, some crucial decisions could be taken behind the closed doors during these meetings. For example, an advanced information about forthcoming economic events and trends could be tracked back to annual reunions of the Bilderberg Group.

Daniel Estulin, a Spanish author acclaimed as the world’s foremost investigative authority on Bilderberg Group, came to the United States in fall of 2007 to promote the first edition of his best-seller “TheTrue Story of the Bilderberg Group” and he told his American audiences about the upcoming housing mess in the U.S.A. and the resulting financial turmoil. On similar tour in Spring 2008, he annnouced that America and the world were just a few months from a major financial calamity (read more CFP, May 5, 2009).

Daniel Estulin, Jim Tucker, and other journalist sources who have infiltrated Bilderberg meetings in the past have routinely provided information about the Bilderberg agenda that later plays out on the world stage, proving that the organization is not merely a “talking shop” as debunkers claim, but an integral planning forum for the New World Order agenda, concocted by some secretive financial-political groups in the West.

Indeed, just last month Belgian viscount and current Bilderberg-chairman Étienne Davignon bragged that Bilderberg helped create the Euro by first introducing the policy agenda for a single currency in the early 1990’s. Bilderberg’s agenda for a European federal superstate and a single currency likely goes back even further. A BBC investigation uncovered documents from the early Bilderberg meetings which confirmed that the European Union was a brainchild of Bilderberg.

In spring 2002, when war hawks (the “neo-cons”) in the Bush Administration were pushing for a Summer invasion of Iraq, Bilderbergers expressed their desire for a delay and the attack was not launched until March the following year.

In 2006, Estulin predicted that the U.S. housing market would be allowed to soar before the bubble was cruelly popped, which is exactly what transpired.

In 2008, Estulin predicted that Bilderberg were creating the conditions for a financial calamity, which is exactly what began a few months later with the collapse of Lehman Brothers. (Paul Joseph Watson, Global Research, May 7, 2009)

As for 2009, Estulin’s sources also tell him that Bilderberg will again attempt to push for the enactment of the Lisbon Treaty, a key centerpiece of the agenda to fully entrench a federal European Union superstate, by forcing the Irish to vote again
on the document in September/October 2009 despite having rejected it already, along with other European nations, in national referendums.

“One of their concerns is addressing and neutralizing the anti-Lisbon Treaty movement called “Libertas” led by Declan Ganley. One of the Bilderberger-planned moves is to use a whispering campaign in the US media suggesting that Ganley is being funded by arms dealers in the US linked to the US military,”reports CFP.

When the former Solidarity Union leader and President of Poland, Lech Walesa, took part in “Libertas” party national gatherings in Rome (May 1) and in Madrid (May 13), some Polish politicians and media accused him of supporting the Irish billionaire Gandley and his “Libertas” transnational party being a “tool of Moscow” and suporting Russian interests in the European Union. Lech Walesa was paid generously for his speeches at the national conventions (reportedly Euro 100,000 for each presentation) and provided a tremendous international publicity for the Ganley’s party.

Bilderberg has routinely flexed its muscles in establishing its role as kingmaker. The organization routinely selects presidential candidates as well as running mates and prime ministers.

Bill Clinton and Tony Blair were both groomed by the secretive organization in the early 1990’s before rising to prominence. There is also a supposition that both Barack Obama and Joe Biden have been also approved by the Bilderberg Group.

Conspiracy theories always simplify the complicated and controversial world trends to suit the “properties” of their authors. Far from taking such theories as granted, we have to admit that Realpolitik could be also carried out and influenced by such gatherings of prominent, wealthy and powerful people like the 130-150 Bilderbergers.

Is the Western World loosing ground?

The world we know and accept as ours never was ideal but always was perceived as the relatively best place to live in. In past centuries, the Western civilization based on Judeo-Christian tradition,religion and a set of constant positive values, such as individual freedom, democracy and free-market economy survived many wars and other calamities, rejected extreme negative ideologies like Communism and Fascism and – at the end of the 20th century – it seemed to enter its “Golden Age” in peace and prosperity. The peaceful triumph of the West over the Communist Soviet Union in the early 1990s, the end of the Cold War that could become “hot” at any time, confronting the major nuclear state-powers, resulted in a sort of self-imposed feeling of comfort and satisfaction.

The United States emerged from the Cold War as the most powerful state on Earth and the only “super-power” – by military,economic and political standards. It looked like “Pax Americana” would remain instact for a very long time and the American free market economy would lead a general globalization of the economic activity, producing more and more cheaper goods and contributing to the enlargement of spheres of prosperity, not only in the Western World but also in other regions of our planet. On the other hand, there was expressed a strong belief in the West that freedom and democracy could spread all over the world by an example of the U.S.A. and other democratic countries.

But soon all these expectations were bound to fail.

The Western democratic system succeeded in some countries of the formerly Communist-dominated Eastern Europe, but not in Russia and not in a number of ex- Soviet Republics that turned into independent states. Authoritarian regimes still dominate in a great number of countries, in some (like Russia) with surface elements of democracy and freedom, and in other ones (like China, Vietnam, Cuba) with a reformed but still overwhelming Communist ideology and political clout.

“Pax Americana” ended abruptly on September 11, 2001 as a result of successful Islamist terrorist attacks against World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Peaceful and prosperous U.S.A. was totally shocked and the Bush Administration retaliated by a declaration of a “war on terror,” not precising against what terror. Soon after 9/11, the United States and its allies started two wars – in Afghanistan and in Iraq. While the military intervention in Afghanistan against the Taliban and al-Qaeda was fully justified and approved by most governments and the public opinion, reasons for invading Iraq to topple the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein were much less convincing, and even falsified. The “war on terror” produced an unexpected backlash in the United States – huge military expenses and an unprecedented curbing of civil liberties in the country.

The US-led military expeditions to far countries, Afghanistan and Iraq, ended by quick temporary victories but resulted in prolonged civil wars in these countries, absorbing the military forces of the U.S. and its allies (Iraq) and the U.S. and NATO (Afghanistan) and, while the West was engaged there, Communist North Korea became a nuclear power and Iran made progress towards building of its own nuclear military capacity, threatening Israel and probably also Europe, Asia and the United States in the forseeable future.

After a victory over Nazi Germany and Japan in the II World War, the United States has fought two prolonged, costly and unsuccessful wars in Asia: in Korea and Indochina. In Korea, America succeeded to defend the South of the country but in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia it had lost the war to the Communists, abandoning the allied regimes and their military forces. It looks like the same fate could repeat in Afghanistan, Pakistan and in Iraq – unless the United States proves to be able to gather effective support to the local regimes in their fight against the Islamist insurgency.

The foreign wars impose heavy burden on the U.S. economy, and the European and other allies tend to minimize their military expenses and to withdraw from the battle-zones as soon as possible. The Atlantic Alliance, or the NATO, is subject to a life-test in Afghanistan and the “alliance of the willing” in Iraq is about to vanish.

But the civil wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are not the only trouble of the West. Serious threats might soon emerge in Africa and in Latin America, due to the spread of the Islamist influence (Africa) and of the Communist ideology (Latin America).

The economic crisis

It’s not true that the recent economic and financial crisis originated in the United States by mere chance or by some rule of the economic up-and-down turns, characteristic for capitalism. For a long time, preceding the 2008 downfall on stock-exchanges and in banks and financial corporations, the post-war monetary system has been disintegrated and destroyed by risky operations, promoted by the most trusted and most powerful banks and other financial institutions. These “Ponzi schemes,” financial “pyramids” and multiple, unlawful use of the same collateral were driven by greed and criminal activities of many individuals and institutions, seeking to maximalize their profits. The “bad money” operations were facilitated by an almost total lack of control by the private and state institutions. One of them is the Federal Reserve in the U.S.A.

The housing market, which suffered the most painful and unreversible losses, causing a lost of property to millions of people, was subject to criminal “experiments” by extending unsecured credit to a large number of people with no possibility to pay it back. The false idea that the value of the real property, houses in particular, will grow incessantly led to a collapse of the mortgage loans system, based on “virtual” money proposed to the lenders by creditors.

The results of the crisis are devastating and probably long-term, spreading all over the inter-connected world economic system and causing more and more damage to the banking networks, industries and the building. The economies of whole countries, like Iceland or Latvia, almost totally collapsed due to the crisis symptoms originated in the United States.

As many major banks and financial institutions have become “zombies” devoid of real money reserves, the U.S. Government and the governments of many Western countries engaged into “bail-outs” worth hundreds of billions of US$ and Euro to save the banking systems and the major industries from a total collapse. But the bail-outs on such a huge scale cause a quick and uncontrollable growth of the budget deficit in many countries. That means, more money is being printed, with no material collateral in gold or silver reserves or the real value of the national economy.

This is not a systematic and professional analysis of the financial and economic crisis. But a common sense tells us, that the results of the human-inflicted calamity will charge the future generations and, presently, might cause severe poverty of some 90 million or more people.

The most irritating aspect of the crisis and of the Government-led bail-outs is the behavior of the rich and powerful culprits, of the financial “gurus,” who in fact caused the collapse of the banking systems and still enjoy support of the governments and get most of the bail-out money. Instead of being swept away and forever by the waves of the omni-potent downfall, these people keep their jobs and pay millions in dividends to themselves.

The moral decline

Are we loosing a decent world of stability, sound values and honesty? Yes, we are. Banks and financial institutions are honest no more. Governments and political parties and their leaders cheat the public opinion and indulge in quasi-criminal activities. Governments spy on their own citizens and the main-stream-media are subject to inner control that is more effective than the Communist-time censorship.
There are attempts made by the present U.S. Administration, and by the governments of European countries as well, to curb freedom of speech and to limit free access to the Internet in order to put controls on the population. Free media, like some known and popular U.S. radio-networks, are being exposed to all kinds of pressure to stop informing people about true facts.

Our Western civilization is really endangered. By foreign enemy forces, like the surge of the fundamental Islamism, by the economic crisis caused by a part of us and enslaving the majority of us, by some inner autocratic and secretive forces in our own societies.

It’s the highest time for the people to stand up and protest, to take some important public matters into their own hands and to defend the Constitutional order. Remember Albert Einstein’s words, serving as a motto to this article: “The world is a dangerous place not because of those who do evil but because of those who look on and do nothing.”

Veteran investigative journalist Jim Tucker has uncovered Bilderberg’s 2009 agenda, which includes the plan for a global department of health, a global treasury and a shortened depression rather than a longer economic downturn.

Appearing on The Alex Jones Show, Tucker said that former Swedish Prime Minister and regular Bilderberg attendee Carl Bildt, “Made a speech advocating turning the World Health Organization into a world department of health, advocating turning the IMF into a world department of treasury, both of course under the auspices of the United Nations.”

Tucker noted that such moves would constitute giant steps toward the world government that Bilderberg has set about to achieve but has been frustrated in finalizing over the past 10 years.

Tucker said that Bilderberg are keen on stressing the problems caused by the economic crisis, as well as the threat of a disease pandemic, as a means of justifying centralization of power.

According to Tucker, Bildt also discussed global warming in the context of a global tax on carbon emissions, which has long been a part of Bilderberg’s agenda.

The global tax which will be paid directly to the UN will be introduced gradually, first of all as a barely noticeable tax at the gas pump, before being hiked up once it is in place, said Tucker.

Regarding the crucial Lisbon Treaty, which was struck down after Irish voters said no to its passage last year, Tucker said that Bilderberg were planning to privately send representatives to Ireland to talk to political leaders in an effort to push the treaty through. The EU requires all member states to ratify the treaty before it can be passed and Irish voters will again be asked to vote in a referendum later this year despite having already rejected the treaty last year.

Tucker said that a key component of this year’s Bilderberg Group meeting was an effort to get President Obama to, “Slip through ratification of the International Criminal Court treaty,” by forwarding it to the Senate to be voted on.

“Their tactics are this,” said Tucker, “Obama is to sweet talk the many left-wing Democrats in Congress who really want the International Criminal Court treaty, they’re just scared because people were so strongly opposed to surrendering sovereignty that they were afraid to vote for it – political cowards – so Obama’s going to sweet talk them and say don’t worry, we’ll have more liberals in the Senate after the 2010 elections so in January of 2011 when the new Senate is seated you can ratify it late on a Saturday night when it’s too late for Sunday morning papers and to re-plan the Sunday talk shows….there will be no political reprisals.”

Tucker confirmed the information first released by Daniel Estulin, that Bilderberg were discussing whether to sink the economy quickly or drag on a long agonizing depression. “Treasury Secretary Geithner and Carl Bildt touted a shorter recession not a 10-year recession….partly because a 10 year recession would damage Bilderberg industrialists themselves, as much as they want to have a global department of labor and a global department of treasury, they still like making money and such a long recession would cost them big bucks industrially because nobody is buying their toys….the tilt is towards keeping it short,” said Tucker.

Tucker concluded by noting that Bilderberg members seemed grim faced at this year’s meeting and that geopolitically, “Things are going bad for them, Americans are responding, Europeans are responding, and their program is being blocked.”

It’s now clear to most Americans that their country is not only headed in the wrong direction, but on the brink of complete extinction. In just the last six months, every major economic sector is speeding towards bankruptcy and the Fed has spent trillions in printed funny money, in an unbridled and ill-fated effort to buy up (not bail out) America’s free-market economic system, leaving the nation, its currency, its people - and yes - FREEDOM, headed towards imminent total collapse.

Opinions about how to save American freedom and liberty are plentiful. But without a proper fact based diagnosis, there is no way to know which remedy will save the day, and which might kill the patient. Before we can discuss a cure, we must carefully assess the illness…

The Cycle behind the Downward Spiral

Money, power and influence over government are indeed at the root of the problem. However, we must separate political spin from fiscal reality in order to properly identify the real culprits.

The cycle of corruption must be broken and Americans must identify and attack the greatest offenders first. If they fail to go after the kingpins of government corruption, they will waste a lot of time and resources chasing their tails in pursuit of mere pawns, or even worse, the wrong guys.

The cycle is simple, but not easy to break...

Money is used to buy politicians who then - once in power - return taxpayer funds to those who got them elected. Every modern politician campaigns for office on the promise to end this cycle. Yet to get elected, they must participate in that cycle, and once elected, they must complete that cycle by repaying the favor.

Understanding What Makes Your Government Tick

In short, money talks and all else walks! Ever heard the phrase “put your money where your mouth is...” or “he with the gold makes the rules...” - ?

I suspect that these famous one-liners originated in a government lobbying meeting. No voice is louder than your wallet. Your public protests, petitions and vote are no match for those who are truly serious about their agenda, - serious enough to “put their money where their mouths are...”

EXAMPLE: Statistically speaking, more than 70% of Americans oppose abortion on demand. But we have abortion on demand because the pro-abortion lobby is willing to “put their money where their mouths are...”

Over the last ten years alone, the pro-life lobby has spent $6,445,047 - 95% of it with Republican law makers. It wasn’t enough… The pro-abortion lobby spent $18,177,404 during the same period – 82% of it with Democrats.

Why are Republicans pro-life while Democrats are pro-abortion? Why is the pro-abortion lobby winning the debate? Look at those numbers again.

Here’s another example with the same outcome… Second Amendment Rights exist only because the pro-gun lobby spent $20,780,715 (85% with Republicans) over the last ten years while the gun-control lobby spent only $1,785,042 (94% with Democrats) in their effort to take your guns away.

Republican lawmakers are pro-gun because they get paid to be pro-gun. Democrats are anti-gun because they are fearful of gun toting American patriots. The Second Amendment is winning at the moment only because the pro-gun lobby outspends the gun-control lobby 10 - 1…

The examples are consistent and endless. Enough said?

The BIGGEST Culprits in America Today

Due to massive volumes of intentional misinformation, the average American has come to believe that public enemy #1 is “capitalism” and public enemy #2 is the “lobbyists” who attempt to promote their capitalist interests in Washington DC. It is FALSE!

“Lobbyists” are public enemy #2 not because they have that much influence, but because they lobby on behalf of free-market interest, aka “capitalism.” However, they are not even a major player in Washington DC today. So why do they get so much attention?

Over the last ten years, lobbyists account for a whopping $155,169,482 in political campaign contributions and according to Democrats, they own Republicans. How can that be when 52% of lobbyist funds go to Democrats?

Besides, this is an embarrassing drop in the bucket when compared to the real culprits who own Washington DC today… and that’s why free-market capitalism and freedom itself are losing the battle for America at present.

The single largest and most powerful political lobby in Washington DC today is, ready… drum roll please… our nations lawyers.... who lead the way with their cool $1,015,397,309 investment in political corruption over the last ten years, 73% of it invested in Democrats! Next time you are wondering how the judicial branch became a nine member oligarchy, look at this number again…

For those who truly hate political corruption in DC, this would have to make trial lawyers public enemy #1 as no group on earth can even come close to competing with this group.

Public enemy #2 would have to be the labor unions, which combined, invested over $478,058,579 over the last ten years, and once again, giving 90% of that money and power to Democrats. Why is today’s Fed a believer in “collectivism” and “the greater communal good?” Hmmm.... Imagine that! They think and act just like the labor unions! Are you familiar with the “ proletariat” movement? “(in Marxist theory) the class of workers, esp. industrial wage earners, who do not possess capital or property and must sell their labor to survive.”

Socio-economic ambulance chasers run Washington DC for the price of a cool billion in campaign contributions. If you don’t think corruption pays, count the number of lawyers at the head of every branch of the federal government today.

But the labor unions not only set a Marxist proletariat policy in DC, they reap the rewards from trillions in (union bid only) federal contracts, funded by the American taxpayer, 90% of whom are not union members and stand opposed to union thugery in the work place and in Washington DC.

Freedom and free-market capitalism are simply out-gunned in Washington DC. Elitist lawyers and corrupt labor unions operating under Marxist principles, rule the roost today, all at great expense to American taxpayers and American freedom. If Obama passes pending “Card check” legislation forcing anti-union employees to vote against unionizing in public, half of the nation will need federal witness protection just to outrun union thugs.

The Worst Offender Today!

Whenever the topic of corrupt labor unions comes up, most Americans think of the most infamous, the AFL-CIO and its 13,000,000 members. But these guys, despite their huge member base, are NOT the biggest problem in Washington politics anymore.

No, that title now belongs to the American Fedn of State, County & Municipal Employees.

In other words, the people who make their living on the government dole, whose paycheck and livelihood comes directly from the American taxpayer, is now the single most powerful union labor lobby in Washington DC.

Through their labor union, 1.4 million government (taxpayer funded) employees are now the biggest union lobby organization in America, giving an astounding $40,690,630 in political contributions over the last ten years, and yes, you are right, - 98% of it to Democrats!

As a result, your tax dollars employ 1.4 million government shirkers who are not happy with the work conditions and wages you offered them, so they formed a union to squeeze more out of the taxpayer. A percentage of the wages you pay as a taxpayer, go to the union which in turn invested 98% of $40 million with the Democrats, who guarantee “union only federal contracts” and grow the size and scope of government employment for benefit of their financial political partners, the government employees.

The cycle is complete.... and free-market Americans are cut out of the equation.

How America Lost its Freedom

America lost its freedom to elitist lawyers and the Marxist proletariat movement represented by a plethora of labor unions, none more powerful than the government employees union reaching ever deeper into to pockets of the American taxpayer.

To save freedom, this cycle of corruption and destruction of freedom must be broken.

What Americans MUST Do

First, don’t expect union members to help you do it, because they are profiting by this corrupt cycle, as are lawyers and their clients in search of the brass ring now offered by the liberal courts. Neither of these groups is on the side of the American taxpayer today, which means they are not on the side of American freedom and liberty either. Both of these groups benefit from an ever larger, more intrusive and more expensive government. Their agenda is to keep the cycle intact at any cost!

By now you are seeing what a massive financial juggernaut has its death grip on American freedom in Washington DC. You must be wondering what in the world the rest of America, specifically the American taxpayer, can do to break this monumental cycle of anti-American corruption and destruction....

More than 59,934,814 Americans voted against the current administration and all it stands for in November of 2008.

What if every last one of these voters reached deep into their pockets and committed $100 on a one-time basis, for the sole purpose of taking immediate actions to break the cycle of corruption which now defines Washington DC?

What could 59 million American patriots do with a $59 BILLION war chest, focused solely on ending the leftist cycle of political corruption which so clearly has a death grip on Washington DC and our beloved nation today?

The fact is, $10 from each, or $5.9 BILLION would get the job done, if 100% participated. As we know, 100% will NOT participate. 10% participation is the best we can hope for, realistically. 90% will complain, but will never step up!

Is the future of freedom and our nation worth $100 each? - If it isn’t, we deserve to lose it...!

Obama’s position of the consummate US dictator, Stealing the wealth of America

Obama’s position of the consummate US dictator is not truly being challenged by many—if any—of our elected officials.  This administration’s gutting of US resources and wealth is historically unprecedented.  It was designed and is being implemented by the political power elite to impoverish the American people—via stealing all of their now former wealth—and create a single proletariat (worker) class that is dependent upon Obama’s “benevolence” (for those who support the secular messiah--or malice toward those who do not).  And Obama’s new energy policy is designed to increase utility rates to a now projected increase of more than $3,100/year/US household.  The Washington Times notes:  “A study by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology found that the cap-and-trade tax will cost every American family more than $3,100 per year!”

While his in-pocket mainstream press refuses to disseminate any truthful less-than-positive news about him and continues to attempt suppression of said truth, within the US population the fear of Obama and his government is growing geometrically.  As We-the-People’s fear of the apparent usurper of the US presidency escalates, the Obama administration is said to fear losing their positions.  Therefore, Obama by way of his DHS chief has already labeled those who oppose him or his policies as enemies of the state.  In their own countries, tyrants known as Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Mao Tse Tung, Kim Jong-Il and Idi Amin did much the same to stop their opposition.  When that didn’t work, the opponents to totalitarian rule were first jailed and then murdered.  Eventually, these tyrants bypassed the imprisonment part and went straight to the murders.

Obama and his now all-leftist-all-of-the-time Congress in power passed the “Obama Youth Brownshirt Goon Squad” Act—alternately known as “G.I.V.E.” or “Obama’s National Youth Civilian police Corps”—which officially begins his private police force.  Obama’s now voter fraud lawsuit plagued organization ACORN has been granted BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars to continue their fraud-in-favor-of Obama and his programs and to work as US Census-takers to rewrite congressional districts; so that the Left will remain in power forever.  When his challengers speak, they will be silenced.  As a side note, Obama’s FCC is now commenting about bringing back the ‘unfairness doctrine’ in order to further silence opposition to the secular messiah.

Obama has taken over two of the US’ once “Big Three” car manufacturers in order to run the companies and give 55% to the UAW—as payback to the union for helping to elect him to the position of POTUS.  He is in the process of manipulating Chrysler’s and GM’s bankruptcy by converting preferred stock to common to give his government voting rights over the companies.  He also dismissed Chrysler’s bondholders as –also—enemies of the state if they did not allow him and the UAW to be placed ahead of them in bankruptcy court.  If the bondholders did not agree, Obama threatened them with the full force of the US government—making them an offer they couldn’t refuse.  Cars that run on Obama’s desired “new technologies”—extremely expensive and those that can travel only a very limited distance before having to be recharged—will be the only ones he will allow to be manufactured.  This will limit citizen mobility.

Obama’s political party largely created the financial debacle in which we now find ourselves trapped—with their theft of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac monies.  And the September 2008 run on US banks is believed by many to have been effected by the Left in order to blame Republicans and ensure the election of Barack Hussein Obama; a man who to date STILL refuses to prove that he is a natural-born (or any other type of) US citizen as required by the US Constitution. 

Obama is now attempting to regulate the monetary compensation of US workers.  Starting with executives in the financial industry, his administration has announced its intent to eventually regulate and limit the pay of all US workers.  His “Universal Healthcare” will not only further gut the US economy but, will allow Obama and his policy follower-implementers to decide who will be helped and who will not; in other words who can live and who must die.  With virtually everything known by the government about an individual, privacy, liberty and freedom will be gone forever. 

Note:  Although he had to resign an Obama appointment due to his own apparent tax evasion, the Obama Administration still has former Democrat Senator Tom ‘the senior citizen exterminator’ Daschle as a healthcare consultant.  This is the same Tom Daschle who said that the elderly (except him and his family one presumes) must accept their fate.  The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission observed:  “In his book, Daschle explains that Americans, especially elderly Americans, must get used to living with less comfort and less treatment for various medical maladies, i.e. the rationing of health care. Within the British health-care system, a mathematical formula is used (with age as a significant factor) to determine what level of health care is most cost effective for each patient. Under that system in 2006, for instance, the British council denied expensive treatment to elderly patients suffering from macular degeneration until they had gone blind in one eye. At that point they were eligible to receive medical treatment for the disease in their other eye. (This particularly egregious decision was overturned last year because of public outrage.)”

So, we now have the following additional despotic items firmly in place:

• Forced impoverishment of the US population (it’s easier to control the poor than it is the rich)
• Full power of US government to be exerted against Obama opposition
• End of legal contracts—IE Chrysler bondholders—if Obama doesn’t like them
• HUGE political pay back to Obama’s friends and gutting of economy for We-the-People taxpayers
• Obama-supporting/opposition-suppressing youth goon squads being put in place
• Enforced limited or non-existent free speech
• Enforced limited or virtually non-existent citizen mobility
• Obama-determined US workers’ monetary compensation
• Obama and his officials to determine who is allowed to live and who should die
  

Think I’m wrong?  Check the sources I’ve included.  Are these really the changes you were looking for?  One thing is certain—these are Obama’s tyrannical “changes you can count on.”
